My Epitaph

In my youth, I read Rafael Sabatini's adventure novel Scaramouche with gusto. It begins with this memorable line: "He was born with a gift of laughter and a sense that the world was mad." Ever since I read those words I have wanted them for my epitaph. [Even though the author beat me to it, I still do].
