Substantive comments, criticism, and opinions are invited, but may not be acknowledged or responded to in all cases. William reserves the right to either discard your submission, print or post it in its entirety, respond to it privately by email, or edit it for the sake of brevity and to remove profanity. As for profanity, william spent twenty years going down to the sea in ships with sailors, and it is doubtful that you could find any words he has not heard before. Others, however, may not be as fortunate, and in order to avoid offending the public any more than he already has, william will bleep out certain strong language.

Remember also that "brevity is the soul of wit."
