Why I Am Here
On the day before my sixtieth birthday I learned that I had prostate cancer. At my urging, my two brothers went for PSA testing. My baby brother (who was then a mere 46 years old) was diagnosed with the disease also. He had successful surgery, and is cancer free to this day. I know that one of the reasons I am here is to get prostate cancer and save my brother's life. Do you know any of the reasons why you are here?
William's Whimsical Words:
Knowing one of the reasons you are here is comforting to be sure. It should not, however, be confused with knowing the reason that we are here.
