Just Another DSH

Upon taking the cat to the vet for his annual indignity, William observed that one of the assistants wrote on the animal's chart in bold letters "DSH." He asked, and was told that it was a shorthand for Domestic Short Hair.

Aha, methinks this animal and William have much in common. Despite having changed hair style from time to time since high school, throughout most of a twenty year military career, and even as we speak, William favors the crewcut. So both man and beast are essentially DSH. No pedigrees, and no pretensions, please.
