Election Commentary
Much has been made of the election of the first African-American to the highest office in the land. My parents did not envision such a day, and would have been thrilled had they lived long enough to see it. Perhaps my children will see the day when a naturalized gay Latina atheist is sworn in. I am not holding my breath.
