Well, Bread
Rousseau and Locke prepared the seed.
Colonists in the New Land planted.
The grain grew tall until the harvest.
Shaped by men who saw the farthest.
Leavened it with freedom's yeast.
A Declaration proclaimed the feast.

Rose it up in revolution.
Baked in war's oven, a Constitution!
