Great Tits

The Great Tit

I can see that the title got your attention.
These are birds, not breasts, I forgot to mention.
Male Great Tits that live in the country,
Sing song that has high and low notes in it.
While those Great Tits that live in Man's city,
Sing a different tune not nearly so pretty.
The constant blowing of our auto horns it seems,
Altered their behavior as it disturbed our dreams.
Perhaps in future, the din of our Civilization,
Will result in a bird that eschews migration.
That sits silently by, and cares not to fly,
Nor cheers the prisoner who looks to the sky.

William's Whimsical Words:

Three cheers for the law of unintended consequences!
