Ever since the Political Correctness Demon seized the USA by the throat over a decade ago, our public discourse has suffered from the Tyranny of the Inoffensive. In truth, it is hardly possible to utter any sound without the possibility of offending someone. It appears that the only way you can be certain not to offend another with some form of expression is to take a vow of silence, write nothing, and refrain from making eye contact with another of your species.
