Borrowed Time

The sudden death of football giant Reggie White yesterday reminds us that in some sense we are all living on borrowed time. Death is surely no respecter of race, gender, size, strength, goodness, or piety. Who among us cannot look back and find at least one moment when a rather small detail did not make the difference between going on or finding the answer to life's final question?
